About Us

Who We Are & What We Do

Defenda Transport & Logistics offers a wide range of general haulage, specialist road transport, international shipping & storage solutions for clients based in the U.K., continental Europe & Worldwide.

A fleet of over 40 of our own vehicles combined with our network of over 4000 partners allows us to offer a rapid response for clients with urgent delivery requirements virtually anywhere in the U.K.

Whether you require a full or part load artic delivery or simply a courier service for legal documents in a small van or motorbike — we will make it happen swiftly & efficiently.

Our larger light commercial vans are ideal for the delivery of urgent pallets that need to be delivered quickly in a dedicated vehicle. Depending on the weight of the pallets being carried, our Luton curtainsided vans are suitable for up to six standard UK pallets and perfect for many other light haulage requirements.

Light Commercials

Our fleet of light commercial vehicles includes: medium size vans, extra long wheel base panel vans & more unusual vans such as Luton curtainsiders with and without tail lifts. We also have a number of drop side vehicles which are perfect for delivery to sites where goods need to be lifted off the vehicle by crane at the delivery point.

HGVs

If your delivery requires LGV/HGV delivery we can provide a range of 7.5t, 18t, 26t, 38t & 44t rigids, box, curtainsiders, flat beds, skellys & other trailers. We can also supply Moffetts & Hiabs when needed.

Less urgent palletised deliveries can be provided economically on either an overnight or 2/3 day service through our pallet network.

Heat Treated Wooden Packing Cases For Export

We also offer a bespoke shipping case build service through our wooden shipping case & crate division which are ISPM15 compliant for international shipping of your goods.

Latest Technology

With our long-standing focus on continuous investment in our fleet we were early adopters of cutting edge technology & have the latest engine management systems installed along with telematics, vehicle tracking, dash cams & monitored CCTV coverage of our warehouse & grounds.

Our vehicle tracking allows us to keep clients fully informed of the progress of their delivery & the ability to pinpoint the exact location of the vehicle makes it possible to advise the precise ETA based on prevailing traffic conditions.
